Known locally as “Captain Majed,” the iconic anime became part of everyday youth culture in Egypt — where anime graphics collided with football jerseys, sportswear logos, and hip-hop aesthetics in the streets and markets of Cairo.

The mascot and “N” emblem reference that world directly: Nylon, Nankatsu, Nasr, and even Nasr City— where our studio is based.
